ARE ALL OF YOUR ITEMS MADE IN THE USA?
Not all the items we sell on the Cubbyhole site are made in the USA. We have marked the items which are and the ones that are not by each item.
ARE THE ITEMS THAT COME FROM OTHER THAN THE USA SAFE?
Yes, in response to the recent issues regarding toy safety we have provided toy safety information as link along with those products that are verified by our vendors as meeting standard safety requirements.While none of our produsct have been involved in the recent recalls, we understand that many of our customers are concerned about the quality and safety of toys, specifically those manufactured in China. Cubbyhole carries toys that are made in many countries, including China and our own United States. All of our products comply with the U.S.A. Saftey Standards that put all the toys through rigorous testing procedures.Furthermore, many of the factories in China are American owned and are audited several times a year to ensure all safety, equipment, and working conditions regulations are met or exceeded.
IF I LOOSE A LETTER FROM MY STOOL OR PUZZLE (OR THE DOG EATS IT) CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT?
Yes you can. Since all of the Cubbyhole puzzles and stools are custom made we can not just send you a letter for you item. We need to have the puzzle or stool sent back to us so we can cut a letter to fit your particualr item. The cost of any replacement letter is 2.00 plus the return shipping charge. Coat rack letters can not be replaced.
MY CHILDS STEP STOOL HAS BEEN LOVED ALOT AND NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP A BIT, CAN YOU DO THIS?
Yes, since The Cubbyhole has been around for nearly 25 years, there are some family keepsakes that are in need of alittle care. Just send it back for an overhall and it will look like new. To repaint the letters is 6.00, to resand and refinish the top of a stool is 10.00, and if any new letters is needed it is 2.00, plus the return shipping. It would be best not to do this durning the months of October--January. We are busy being Santa's Helper during those months.
